Ogee Gutter Profile
According to Wikipedia, Ogee is the name given to objects, elements, and curves—often seen in architecture and building trades—that have been variously described as serpentine-, extended S-, or sigmoid-shaped.
Ogee gutter is known to be the most decorative guttering profile available. Unlike many of the standard guttering profiles such as square and half-round guttering, Ogee guttering is not interchangeable with other brands, for example you cannot use a Floplast union joint on a Marley Gutter even if they are both an Ogee profile.
Freeflow ogee and Marley Regency have both been designed to be reversible. This is beneficial and will allow you to install the gutter and gutter joints either way round because the profile is identical on the back face as it is on the front face.
Rainwater Overshooting the Gutter
Polypipe Extra Capacity, Kayflow (Swish), and Marshall Tuflex gutter profiles have been designed a higher front edge than the back, which can prevent water from overshooting the gutter.
